Students and staff are invited to participate in International Day of Peace by creating pinwheels that are colored with designs and words they chose to represent harmony and peace for their lives and the world.
Students will be making the pinwheels in art class and learn a song of peace in music class.
On September 26, FDES students by grade level, will install their pinwheels and sing a song of peace on the front grassy area of our building. Each grade level will participate for the first 15 minutes of their special area subject.The special area team will bring the students to the front grassy area to plant their pinwheel and celebrate with song. *** In the event of bad weather, pinwheels will be displayed throughout the building placed by me in selected areas.
